The French speaking side. Vineyards over the lake, a castle at the water, and Geneva Airport at one end.
The Lavaux vineyards between Lausanne and Montreux are a UNESCO site and the best walk in the region, ideally with a winemaker at the end of it. Chillon castle, the Montreux lakeside and the GoldenPass line into the mountains fill the rest. Geneva is the arrival or departure point and deserves half a day with someone who knows the old town and the watchmaking quarter.

Some open for private visits by arrangement. We ask on your behalf once the dates are fixed.
Is the Lavaux walk suitable for children?
Yes on the shorter sections between villages, about an hour, mostly downhill.
